Head coach and Club Director Amy Starling is a teacher in the Corsicana ISD school system. She has been involved in the personal fitness industry for over 23 years as an aerobics instructor and personal trainer. She has coached school, club and volunteer volleyball teams.
Amy has also been certified in the Xplosive Training (XT) method tailored to youth interested in improving overall athleticism and speed. She received this training while a NASM-certified (National Academy of Sports Medicine) personal trainer with a Wellbridge Sports & Wellness fitness club in Albuquerque, NM.
For the benefit of her volleyball playing daughters, and all area high school and middle school volleyball players, Amy decided, with the help and support of other Golden Circle-area residents, to start a competitive club volleyball program for the 2008 USA Volleyball-sanctioned tournament season.
